John Lombard, Senior Policy Analyst

John Lombard is a senior policy analyst with experience in watershed management, basin planning, development regulations, intergovernmental coordination and endangered species policy. From 1996 to 2000, John was King County’s coordinator for salmon recovery planning in the Lake Washington watershed, which involved working with all 28 cities, both counties, federal and state agencies, tribal governments and community, business and environmental groups in the 700-square-mile planning area. His book, "Saving Puget Sound: A Conservation Strategy for the 21st Century", was published in November 2006 by the American Fisheries Society and the University of Washington Press.
